About event
🤍🖤 Come and enjoy an evening of music and great entertainment at Nitra's pedestrian zone!
The popular White and Black concert will bring an unforgettable experience to the city under Zobor this year. You can look forward to excellent singers, beautiful piano and violin tones, an energetic band and a workshop full of useful information.
📅 When: Saturday 15 August 2026, 17:00 – 22:00
📍 Where: stage in front of TIC, pedestrian zone in Nitra
🎶 Program:
🎹👩🎤 17:00 Vera Karas
Singer, composer, singer, pianist, lyricist, producer, arranger and teacher. All this is Vera Karas from Humenné, who will initially perform a concert full of songs from her own work in the indie and pop-rock genre. Her songs are tender and stormy, humorous and sensitive. She comes directly to the audience to break down all borders, walls and stereotypes.
🎸👨🎤 18:00 Martin Rous
Folk and rock singer, guitarist and songwriter from Prague. He was at the birth of the band Sluníčko, in which the famous Czech singer Lenka Dusilová started. In his performances, he combines different genres and is able to impress listeners not only with his singing, but also with his ability to convey the depth of the text and melody. His concerts are not only a musical experience, but also a path to a deeper perception of art and emotions.
🎹🎻 19:00 PV Acoustic
The acoustic duo of violinist Victoria Linnen and pianist Petar Zbrenko brings a concert full of immortal Slovak and Czech hits to the city of Pod Zobor. Legends such as Elán, IMT Smile, TEAM, Tublatanka, Peter Nagy and many others will virtually take turns on one stage.
Enjoy well-known songs as you don't know them - in an original piano-violin version!
🧌 20:20 KYKLOP band
The climax of the evening will be provided by a band that bears the name of the one-eyed giant in its name. And it will really be one huge party! Seven fantastic musicians from Olomouc will serve you a hearty portion of Czech and world hits again this year. Dance it out in the style of oldies, rock'n'roll and rock and sing at the top of your lungs with the band!
👁️ Interactive workshop
You will also be able to join our program. This year too, we invite you to an interactive educational workshop, in which you will be in the shoes of a blind person for a little while. You will learn useful information on how to help a visually impaired person during a meeting, but also what kind of help is definitely not desirable. The workshop will take place at approximately 17:45.
