This panel examines the integration of biodiversity risks in the financial sector and the implications of stricter EU regulations on sustainable investments in Austria. Moderated by Franziska Walde (founder of refinq), experts from OeKB, leading fintech companies, scientists and representatives from regulatory authorities will discuss how financial institutions and fintechs develop innovative solutions to effectively integrate biodiversity into their business models. It also highlights how strict EU regulations influence global investment flows and what strategies are necessary to promote sustainable financial products despite regulatory hurdles.
