About event
On Saturday, September 27, the Family Day of the Black Achievement Month 2025 will take place in @NEMOO Science Museum with an interactive program for the whole family.
For the fifth year, the science show is part of the NEMO Family Day. You are central in the demonstration "Science around you". Instead yourself about the exciting experiments and spectacular experiments that happen all around you. From a fire tornado, to a waterfall of fog and flying plates. Everything comes by in this exciting demonstration.
Speaker of the day is Indra Bergval. Indra Bergval is a molecular microbiologist and has been researching infectious diseases for more than twenty years, since 2017 she has been doing that at RIVM. During the Black Achievement Month Family Day in Nemo, she takes you into the fascinating world of the invisible and the super small, the world of bacteria.
Prior to Indra Bergval, Skitta provides an Energy Boost for the kids present through a performance in which he combines rap, singing, dance, sports and comedy. This year too, the pop-up exhibition can be admired, where children learn more about black inventors and scientists from the past. Then there is an opportunity to explore the museum.
