The Black List
/Slovak year 2025/
// The Šelepova Club //
The current Slovak situation again fulfills the ancient tension of the Central Europe space consisting of a position between Western Europe represented mainly by Germany and Eastern Europe. Slovak policy is currently out of exquisite, through a firm, twenty -year anchoring in the structures of the European Union towards the Russian global interests. The result is processes that Central Europe knows very well from the 20th century: personnel movements in significant positions happen by a scale of loyalty to power, suppressing live and free culture, manipulating public space and public interest through mass media. Citizens and citizens of Slovakia ask themselves whether to leave such a country. Audiovisual contents in the rocket permits of social networks overwhelm virtual public space and manipulate public opinion in favor of pro -Russian -oriented policy. The dynamics of this environment thus become a basic inspiration for our first production in 2025. Discussion programs, advertising, talkshows, streams, reelsy and other audiovisual contents flying by the cosmos of Slovak social networks have become the starting facilities of the production. The name of the production refers to the constant of various repressive, authoritarian and totalitarian regimens, in which there is always a black list for unwanted people. Who and for what reasons will eventually find himself, however, remains a question from which everyone is in the end.
