Frank Koine, known by his stage name Keldon, is a singer-songwriter, performer, author, and producer from Kenya, currently based in the vibrant metropolis of Berlin. With more than 25 years of experience in music and the creative arts, Keldon’s journey has been shaped by diverse and dynamic experiences: serving as a music director in a Nairobi church, touring India as a singer and performer with a British music-for-charity organization, producing Kenyan heritage shows in Norway and New Zealand, among many others. These experiences have refined his craft and connected him with audiences both in Kenya and across the globe.

Keldon’s musical influences span Gospel, RnB, Pop, Hip-Hop, and the rich variety of sounds from his mother continent, Africa.

TRIBE is the name of the outfit through which Keldon creates and shares his music. He envisions TRIBE as an open community of musicians—collaborators who bring not only his music to life but also express their own unique identities wherever opportunities arise. Rather than being a fixed unit, TRIBE is a dynamic collective of friends supporting one another and nurturing each other’s musical dreams and journeys.

Keldon hopes TRIBE will transcend music alone, offering Western audiences Transformative, Radical & Immersive Black Experiences (TRIBE) across the full spectrum of the creative arts. By collaborating with people from diverse ethnic backgrounds who share a common belief in building authentic communities that celebrate and honor Black culture as part of our shared humanity, Keldon and TRIBE aim to not only entertain but also celebrate Black heritage through music and the creative arts.
