About event
The music of Blaudzun, nom-de-plume by Johannes Sigmond, echoes exciting indie rock and pop, with poetic lyrics and his melancholic voice. That characteristic sound has earned the songwriter national attention in recent years, with sold-out club shows in venues including our MAX. Busier than ever, Blaudzun has been anything but quiet lately. Last March, for example, the impressive project 'The Waste Land' was released, a soundtrack for the documentary of the same name about the world-famous poem by T.S. Eliot.
The new single 'Shades' will be released on Friday, May 3, produced with indie rock veteran and Moss frontman Marien Dorleijn. The song is a precursor to his seventh studio album 'Latter Days', which will be released on October 18 and is a wonderful pop song with recognizable 80's bass synths, lyrics full of zest for life, and an inescapable melody.
On February 9, Blaudzun will be in our MAX with his six-piece band!
