About event
The exhibition of Blažija Mikusa from Shadow to Light presented works since the 1990s with an emphasis on the latest work. The artist works with the symbolism of shadow and light, from the cold to warm colors, especially blue. His paintings open up the imaginary world of countries and corners, bright with the sun. In newer works (2024 - 2025), we find upward compositions with the symbolism of stairs and ladders that evoke spiritual growth and the path to the light, leaving space for a free interpretation of the viewer.
The guided tour will take place 14. 8. at 17:00 in the Grand Hall of the Arts Gallery.
The exhibition curator is Dagmar Srnenská.
