Wherever it appears, there's fun to be had! The cute Marsupila drove readers crazy with his crazy antics already in the middle of the last century, so it's no wonder that after Asterix and Tintin, this legend of the Belgian-French comics is also coming to the cinema. The yellow hairy creature with black spots, which most resembles a leopard with dog ears and an incredibly long tail, was taken to the show by the most professional - a group of jokers around Philippe Lacheau, who has successful comedies Alibi to measure, Badman or Quick and impossible. Viewers can thus look forward to a family adventure full of comic disasters, misunderstandings and confusion.

In order to keep his job at the zoo, David agrees to a risky plan and takes on the task of delivering a mysterious package from South America. In doing so, he must follow three seemingly simple rules: do not open the shipment, keep an eye on it like your own eyes, and be as inconspicuous as possible during its transport to France. As if there were not enough complications, for the sake of secrecy he has to travel on an ocean liner with his ex-partner Tess, their young son Leo and his clumsy, somewhat simple-minded colleague Stéphan. And it is he who complicates everything when he breaks one of the rules and accidentally opens a box with mysterious contents.
Inside hides a baby Marsupilami - a rare, extremely cute creature of unknown origin, whose epithet "crazy" is not accidental. At that moment, the remaining two rules also fall, the already flighty expedition turns into an even flightier one, and Marsupilami immediately becomes the uncrowned ruler of chaos. But in addition to the mess, it also brings unbridled energy and a lot of funny situations that force David, Tess and Leo to work together in a way that they could not do on their own. The unexpected adventure will finally open new horizons for everyone and show them not only hitherto unknown corners of the world, but also the power of family bonds.

Marsupilami is one of the iconic characters of the French-Belgian comics, created in 1952 by artist André Franquin. This four-legged creature has its own statue in the Grévin wax museum in Paris, the French post office dedicated a stamp to it, and there is even a planet named after it orbiting the sun. So that the character does not lose its charm even on the movie screen and at the same time looks natural, the experienced team of animators focused on the precise rendering of movements, facial expressions and the typical wagging of the tail. Filming took place in France, Thailand and Greece, where the crew worked in various environments - from tropical areas to seaside locations.
