Bluecity band is currently one of the youngest Slovak bluegrass bands. The songs we interpret are mostly known American folk songs with a distinctive gospel background, which is reflected in the entire width of traditional bluegrass music.
Significant influence on the selection of our songs have songs by Doyl Lawson, The Petersens and others that we sing in the original language, but with our own adjustment and style, into which we also put our own speech and our feeling. Part of the selection of the songs is also the songs of traditional Irish folk music, to which we are very close to and viewers will certainly notice our motivation and influence the repertoire of the Spiritual Quintet in terms of traditional form or songs of Petr Kůsa known from Czech Bluegrassu. Vanda Drinková from Borský Mikuláš, complements Mandolín and the voice of Betka Albrechtová and bass singing and guitar Mira Albrecht from Trenčín. The rhythmic component, the bass guitar, is in charge of the manufacturer of great guitar Luboš Dundek from Púchov. Juraj Illa of Hrachovišťa, in addition to singing mostly tenor party, complements some songs with the sign and alt flute, who, together with mostly Lead's singing Lenka Dvorecka from Ivanka near Danube and her cross flute give many songs the right drive and unmistakable feed. Unusual, but we like to experiment, edit songs according to our feeling and edit for our typical four -voice speech of the old things we give a new dress, but also new things sung and played in a slightly different way than our listeners are accustomed to pull them out of everydayness of well -known melodies, surprise and pleased the same way. href = "https://www.facebook.com/100001143464671/videos/pcb.8280179625363404/2258800797808578"> h TTPS: //www.facebook.com/10011143464671/videos/pcb.8280179625363404/2258800797808578
