Bluesweiser 40. Anniversary

Bluesweiser is one of the oldest blues bands in Slovakia. It was founded in about 1985 Juraj Turtev and Erich Boboš Procházka and in the first acoustic form was joined by guitarist Mirko Staník. The "Blues" label is currently a bit misleading. Bluesweiser crosses all the boundaries in the genre that many criticize - whether more or less justifiably - koishervatism, "closure in twelve bars". The head of the component band is headed by two prominent personalities (both of them in the past - Bluesman of the Year, which is granted annually by the Slovak blues company), whose collaboration determines the composition of the style of Bluesweiser. Singer, guitarist and lyricist Juraj "Dura" Turtev, legendary width of his shot (plays in several groups) comes with an original singing speech, which carries very distinctive lyrics, completely deprived of traditional blues clichés. Guitarist and composer Ivan Tomovič is one of the avant -garde masters of his instrument in Slovakia, his approach to the guitar game is similar to Vernon Reid: Technical perfection does not make the feeling of the genre and at the same time discover new ways. Bluesweiser as a whole, moving somewhere on the edge of blues, funky, rock, but also with traces of jazz or alternative, is primarily a grateful concert attraction that you do not need to miss.
