Bob Mold published In 2025, his 15th solo album and first new full-length in more than four years, Here We Go Crazy - which follows 2020's critically acclaimed Blue Hearts. The first harbinger of this: the lead single (and title track) “Here We Go Crazy”, which is now available everywhere. An official music video is now streaming on YouTube.
"I've spent time in the Southern California desert for the past few years and the video was shot there. Cool wilderness on a mountaintop, vast vistas below the hills, far-flung places to get away from it all," says Mould. "'Going Crazy' can mean many different things. The joy of carefree abandon, the uncertainty about the future of the world, the silence of loneliness."
"Here We Go Crazy" was produced by Mold in early 2024 at the famed Electrical Audio in Chicago, Illinois, and then completed and mixed at the Tiny Telephone in Oakland, California, with longtime collaborator Beau Sorenson as engineer. The legendary singer-songwriter presents 11 exciting new songs on "Here We Go Crazy" - which is once again supported by the world-class rhythm section of drummer Jon Wurster and bassist Jason Narducy -.
Mould and band (drummer Jon Wurster and bassist Jason Narducy) will celebrate the arrival of "Here We Go Crazy" with US headlining dates, heading to Europe in the fall. On November 23rd they will stop at Berlin's Columbia Theater.
