Bobrovec - Cestou necestou - Ama Dablam vs. Lenin Peak a hory na Taiwane i Indonézii

We cordially invite you again to the travel presentations By the Road in Bobrovec, during which Janka and I will climb the iconic Ama Dablam mountain in Nepal to 6,812 meters, as well as the 7,134-meter Lenin Peak in Kyrgyzstan. In the second presentation with Miš, you will get to know the natural beauty and steep hikes in Taiwan and volcanoes in Indonesia. It will be an evening after which you will start thinking about where to travel sooner.

Two completely different mountains in two different countries, but they have one thing in common. Extremely high altitude. How do such expeditions take place? Which mountain was physically / mentally more demanding? How to deal with lack of oxygen? I climbed Ama Dablam in the spring of 2023 and returned from Lenin Peak a few weeks ago. Two successful ascents to the mountains, the peaks of which one must definitely deserve.

Often From Taiwan, we move to Indonesia, where I climbed volcanoes in Java (Arjuno, Bromo, Batok, Raung, Ijen), Bali (Agung), Lombok (Rinjani) and Sumbawa (Tambora) during the month.
