About event
We cordially invite you to the first event of the new Musica Aperta series. As part of it, BOD will present the work of composers of classical music across musical history, with the sole intention of bringing it to a new as well as an experienced audience.
The first composer to be presented will be the jubilant Arvo Pärt. The Estonian legend of contemporary music celebrated an incredible ninety years last year. Recently, the legendary recording Für Alina (1999 - ECM Records) was finally released on LP. It will also be discussed during the evening and of course something will be heard from it.
During the BOD Musica Aperta evenings, there will be debates, music will be played (of course from the LP) and maybe something will be played. Special guests will also play a big role in it:
Jozef Lupták
Ivan Šiller
Robert Pospiš (moderator)
We hope to see you at the premiere of the BOD Musica Aperta series, which wants to bring discussion evenings on musical topics to the capital. In this case, audience involvement is a welcome fact.
We look forward to seeing you!
