About event
The body of a pregnant woman is celebrated, protected, a woman turns into a kind of inviolable archetype during pregnancy. Her curves are subject to admiration and tenderness. But at the same time they are hidden, surrounded by mystery. In pregnancy, a woman loses her autonomy, finds herself in a kind of interpretation - straddled between the past and the future, the world so far, and what happens soon. What if her changing body is a tool of her artistic expression? What led them to be part of the project? How do they perceive their body in this period? What does it affect her work?
and whose body is their body? and an experimental creative approach that includes research of movement material, visual dramaturgy, conceptual strategy or deconstruction of theater practices. In recent years, the platform has been focused primarily on feminine topics. The main artistic personality and common denominator of all ME-SA projects are choreographer, dancer, performer Martina Hajdyla Lacová. She graduated from the Banská Bystrica Conservatory and the Master's Study of Dance Pedagogy at Prague's HAMU, where she is currently studying a doctoral program. In her work, Martina uses dance as a concept, as part of communication and interaction, as a natural movement of human bodies. In 2015, she won the dancer Award for her performance in the production Supernaturals . For the performance of the One of the Seven , it was nominated for the Thalia Award 2016.
