About event
In collaboration with Leidsebuurt Theaterbuurt and Athenaeum Boekhandel, Slaa is organizing: Bookbar Live!
On Sunday, March 16, during the Book Week, you can participate in a literary pub crawl along iconic catering establishments. The afternoon starts at 3.30 pm with a program in The Bookshop (ITA) about the role of the café for writers. Writers with a bond with the café - because they work or have worked there, please write or read, or just like to come - talk about what the café means for them as a writer and for their work. With Alma Mathijsen, Daan Doesborgh, Hanneke Hendrix and Mensje van Keulen.
Subsequently, the Pub crawls along café Reijnders, Café Americain, Café Eijnders and Café De Waard will start at 4.30 pm. Participants can join the cafés with the authors of the afternoon for a personal conversation and a signed copy of their book.
The entire line-up will be announced soon!
