Bohai @ WABE: pre-release „Incanto“

The Repertoire of Bohai is a journey through the worlds of music and cultures. Rooted in the melodies of traditional Klezmer music and inspired by pioneering artists such as Giora Feidman, Naftule Brandwein or David Orlowsky Trio, this music is increasingly spun. The crossover idea makes influences from the tango, Arabic music and jazz and leads to many exciting own compositions. Consisting of Yorick Lohse (clarinet), Max Feig (guitar), Alexander Patzelt (bass clarinet) and Johannes Schauer (double bass) Bohai also arranges traditional songs for this unusual line -up. The result is a broad spectrum that ranges from melancholic ballads to fast -paced dance numbers and gets a very own sound from the special combination of the instruments. The special thing about this concert: look forward to new repertoire and the unpublished single "Incanto" and one or the other surprise.
