BOLÉRO – TRIBUTE to MAURICE RAVEL
FRANCECONCERT is proud to present Boléro – Hommage à Maurice Ravel, a unique show on tour in France and Europe from November 2024!
Le Boléro by Maurice Ravel is the one of the most recognized French masterpieces in the world, and has undeniably marked the history of music and dance. As Ravel was preparing to undertake a four-month concert tour in the United States and Canada, Ida Rubinstein, his friend and patron, asked him for a “ballet of Spanish character”. Ravel, sensitive to the idea of dance, opted for the bolero, a traditional Andalusian dance. This is how the work comes to life.
Prepare to be transported into this mythical story, through a great show punctuated by the captivating music of the Bolero and its powerful choreography!
