About event
Rebellious Brno: Guided walks in the history of social struggles in Brno
The original construction of workers' colonies, in which since the mid -19th century the workforce of the "Brno Manchester" lived, in today's city is clear only hints. The Workers' House in Juliánov, the monuments of the Workers' Movement on Cejl, on the White Mountain, the remains of workers' and emergency colonies ... At that time, these people, who were massively moving to Brno for working in factories, brought together in physical education units. These associations were then a cultural and organizational basis for the large workers' movement fighting for the rights of workers.
