Location: Auction company Soga s.r.o., Medená 16, Bratislava - Staré Mesto
About event
This evening you will be treated to a five-hour set of cover versions of a single, but legendary and beautiful Joy Division song, from the personal collection of Boris Ondreička. It includes versions from string quartets, brass bands and accordion bands, also punk and grunge, dub remixes, goth, indie, country, folk and Latin versions or even in Mongolian throat singing...
You will hear remakes by, for example, The Cure, Nouvelle Vague, New Order, Simple Minds, Paul Young, Gus Gus, Calexico, Broken Social Scene, Squarepusher, José Gonzales, Shanes and Swans, The King... a bunch of sweeties and some really hilariously disastrous acts.
Entrance is free. Until 22:00 Happy Hour with 30% discount on drinks.
