Boží úlet/ Good Fortune (český dabing)

No one learned fell from the sky
Comedic surprise of the year? That's what the star-studded comedy God's Flight with Keanu Reeves in the lead role promises! Sometimes a person does his best and it's still not enough. Then only a miracle will help! That is, unless he is responsible for a B-level angel who has good intentions, but absolutely zero prerequisites to succeed. So far, it has only saved drivers who text while driving. However, such an obstacle will not stop the heavenly messenger Gabriel. He enters the life of a frustrated Arji in good faith to convince him that money is far from solving all his problems. However, it soon turns out that they are solving them. But who could have guessed? Gabriel definitely not... His strike from above was supposed to be divine, but it turned out to be quite a flight!

Arji (Aziz Ansari) is definitely not living the life he dreamed of. He doesn't really live the life anyone would dream of. He is still penniless, so he has to sleep in the car and make extra money as an occasional part-timer. Most of the time, he serves rich fools, such as technology tycoon Jeff (Seth Rogen), whom he hates from the bottom of his heart, but he would not hesitate to trade places with them. And that's exactly what happens! His guardian angel (Keanu Reeves) senses in this exchange an opportunity to help his unsuspecting ward. He decides to show Arji that being rich and successful like Jeff is not a guarantee of contentment and happiness.

Gabriel's godly plan has one small flaw, however: Arji very quickly discovers that Jeff's life is carefree and begins to enjoy it freely, while Jeff learns the everyday reality of hard workers. And as if that wasn't enough, Gabriel pays for this "God-given" by losing his angel wings and being relegated to mortals. Lord in heaven! Well, Mrs. Heaven actually, because Gabriel's superior is Martha (Sandra Oh).
God's Flight is the film debut of American actor and comedian Aziz Ansari, winner of the Golden Globe for his leading role in the comedy series Master of None. He also played the central character in his directorial debut, shot according to his own script, in which he used his experience. As part of the film's preparations, he got a job in a hardware store in order to empathize with the feelings of the demotivated Arji. He required the same commitment from his fellow actors, so Seth Rogen had no choice but to undergo an ayahuasca ritual under the guidance of a real shaman. "Her name is Nana, and she did a great job of making everything go smoothly. I told her to act like a real ceremony, and all her dialogue is improvised. I told Seth to stay in his role and respond," Ansari recalls of a day on set that he says was fun on set. The audience can look forward to truly genuine entertainment!
