🔹 Erich Fromm lived across the last century (1900-180), a century full of significant changes and reversals in society, which had a direct impact on man as an individual. Fromma has been fascinated by this connection throughout his life - as the change of individual affects society and as a change of society creates an individual. He was looking for a starting point for a man as an individual and for society. He tried to understand how society affects the creation of human character and vice versa. Many of his humanistic ideas have a timeless character and come out of his love for humanity and not extinguishing hope that man and society are always able to take a step "forward and up" if they are willing to cross their own shadows and smallness and focus on values, their own potential and creative spirit.
▪sk will be a lecture p. Mária Mihálová, a long -time lecturer of Nová Akropolis, who completed the program of study of Eastern and Western philosophy, psychology, ethics and symbolism. He specializes in ancient and Renaissance philosophy, philosophical and psychological themes across history in the comparative study. He leads courses and lectures in the areas of philosophy, ethics, psychology, rhetoric, art and ancient cultures.
