About event
ℹ️ We invite you to an event from the "below the surface" cycle this time dedicated to the eternal theme of Love, which we will look at different philosophical and psychological perspectives. href = "https://link.akropolis.sk/tt1bg5"> https://link.akropolis.sk/tt1bg5
Sign up by Monday 29.09.2025 inclusive.
🔹 We will discuss the following topics at the event:
▪️ Love as universal power in ancient myths
▪️ Grades and forms of love in East and Western classic tradition
▪️ The “under the surface” cycle will be addressed by practical everyday topics in terms of philosophy and psychology. In the first part we will open the theme of the evening and bring it closer to its diverse aspects and questions that are associated with it. We will look for inspiration for answers in the links of thinkers from different social areas. The second part of the event will be a space for dialogue with the participants. We, too, ask an ancient question "what is love?"
🔹 We will see that love is one of the great mysteries of nature and the human soul, and therefore it is not possible to explain and grasp quite rational, we also need a piece of intuition and feeling. Nevertheless, the spiritual heritage of humanity and the ideas of the great people who dealt with this topic can help us to understand it. Director of the new Akropolis Slovakia, Kamila Hermannová, whose profile you can find here: https://link.akropolis.sk/profil
🔹 duration: 2 hours with a break. href="https://link.akropolis.sk/3gco9t">https://link.akropolis.sk/3gco9t
