Bratislavská vianočná prechádzka

In the past, December 21 was the day of St. Thomas. The men of the family went to the forest to get a Christmas tree. In pre-Christian times, it was a day followed by exuberant solstice celebrations. St. Thomas' Day is also mentioned several times in preserved archival documents of Bratislava. The authorities of the old Prešpork in them repeatedly forbid... You know what? Something that, despite all the bans, persists in some form to this day. We will reveal it to you and talk more about Christmas traditions and Bratislava Christmas customs on our Christmas walk in Bratislava, from Františkánská Street to the Cathedral of St. Martin.
