On the meadows near the Gothic tower in the Janko Kráľ Garden, we will once again spread blankets, lay out picnic baskets and reawaken stories from the times when there was no rush.
We will be transported to the period of 1900-1950, to the world of elegance, music, dance and outdoor meetings, in an offline world with a book, a notebook and spontaneous conversations.
Grab a hat, gloves, suspenders, vest, granny dress or any clothing or accessory inspired by First Republic fashion. A small detail is all it takes to transport you back a few decades and help create a unique event atmosphere.
And what would a picnic be without good food and drinks? Waiting for you:
• wines from Kollar Winery
• freshly prepared Cisárové langoše
• traditional Leberkäse
• crispy pastries from Cisárov's baker
• homemade lemonades from Limča Bar
• coffee from Mr. Králiček
The afternoon program will also include accompanying activities for young and old. You can test your strategic skills at the Račian Chess Academy or at the popular Cornhole game. You will also be able to get a glimpse into the world of traditional crafts through the presentation of wooden stick creations combined with a mini workshop. Creative souls will be delighted by the art plein air under the guidance of Marek Baranac or Mgr. art. Susan's Day.
The atmosphere of the period picnic will be complemented by craft stalls with original products from ceramics and leather products to jewelry, honey and wax products to textile decorations and felt accessories, which carry a piece of traditional skill and originality.
