What does it look like to travel around South America for four months with a minimal budget and a maximum effort to get to know the indigenous cultures? Sebastian Prax takes us outside the classic tourist routes.
We will embark on the journey of a student of natural sciences and philosophy who set out to find people living in closer contact with nature and traditions. For people who see the world with completely different eyes. We will hear about life in an indigenous community, encounters with local rituals and everyday life on the road across several South American countries.
- Three weeks in the community: Life in the forest in the Indian village of the Huni Kuin tribe.
-Rituals and inner strength: Traditional Indian saunas and the use of plant medicines.
- Culture and movement: A week-long study of the Capoeira Angola martial dance and village festivals in Peru.
- A trip through the mountains: A hike to the iconic Machu Picchu and a visit to indigenous communities in Ecuador
- Digital nomadism: Life and making money on the road
What can happen when we gather the courage to go into the unknown? Come and listen to a story about what disconnection from the modern world brings and how to live where working on your own field is the only certainty.
Sebastian Prax - traveler, musician and writer. While traveling, he not only discovers, but also works on his projects online and participates in the organization of environmental non-profits in the Czech Republic. When he travels somewhere, he goes for a longer period of time in order to really understand the local life and draw inspiration for living here.
