“Breaking this silence” - Ausstellung

"Breaking This Silence" combines art & medicine to break up myths about endometriosis and create new health narratives.

The exhibition Breaking This Silence brings patient artists together on the subject of endometriosis. Through works, stories and workshops, she questions myths and patriarchal structures that hinder good care. A committed, creative space for new health knowledge.

Breaking This Silence is a hiking exhibition that brings patient artists who deal with the body, illness and care. Through autobiographical stories, critical approaches and artistic-political works, it focuses on the representation of endometriosis-an illness that has long been ignored and made invisible. The exhibition combines artistic, educational and activist contributions that question patriarchal, cultural and medical constructions around the female body. In the sense of the model of the "Patient · in as a partner · in", she aims at a joint knowledge production between affected and health pacemians. It shows that stories not only reflect reality, but can create new realities. Breaking This Silence invites you to deconstruct the myths and write new stories about endometriosis - free, politically and healing.
