Brisa Carioca - ˜Floor Polder -
The Brazilian flute of Floor Polder in Brisa Carioca
Floor has a thorough command of the Brazilian musical language and knows how to express herself in it, both in her own compositions and in the improvised music during her performances. Her sound and phrasing are beautiful and have a personal signature. Her familiarity with Brazilian music and her skill with the instrument are reminiscent of another foreign instrumentalist who also has a strong presence in Brazil: French violinist Nicolas Krassik.
