About event
2026 marks the 50th anniversary of the death of Benjamin Britten (1913-1976). The JEB Choir takes this as an opportunity to honor this great British composer of the 20th century with a program that takes up his pronounced pacifism as a central element. Together with the Konzerthausorchester Berlin, the Junge Ensemble Berlin explores the longing for peace in Britten's musical work - and that of his pioneers.
