About event
🚶brno in the times of the Nazi occupation experienced one of the darkest and most important periods of its history. It was in these difficult times that the Czech population showed extraordinary civic bravery and failure, the city lost a number of important buildings and disappeared several centuries -long coexistence of local Czechs, Germans and Jews. The Nazi and Protectorate institutions were located, reminding of the forgotten fates of many heroes and victims. During a professionally guided walk, thanks to screenings you will be able to see a lot of period photographs and listen to the memories of witnesses and especially to go through the places where the history of our country was written. The meeting will be at the Foyer Institute of Memory of the Nation Brno on the 1st floor.
