Ivana Mojšová (1994) will focus on the issues of gender and imaging stereotypes, both in a formal level, where it experiments with the polarities of the traditional depiction of paintings, with elements of historical painting, versus the contemporary autonomous construction of painting painting with overlaps into abstraction. Even in the framework of painting motifs Mojšová continuously calls on stereotypes and archetypes, building latently disturbing non/realistic situations. Her work themes female identity, body, sexuality, faith and cultural symbols in a way that exceeds individual experience. Ivana Mojšová offers us a new mythological matrix, in which we can put our own paintings, questions and pain. In the space between the body and the symbol, there is a ritual in which we are all actors - without certainty, who is the hunter and who is the prey.
