Come with us on a guided walk through the territory of Bubnů, which is awaiting a significant transformation. As part of the walk, we will present plans for the reconstruction of the surroundings of the new Vltava Philharmonic. How will the public space of a cultural building of world importance be arranged? How will it be with greenery and access to the river? And are the three tunnels under the Philharmonic really necessary, or is there another transport solution? We will compare the data from the documentation with well-known places in Prague, so that together we can reveal the reality that is hidden behind the visualization images.
From the Philharmonic, we will move to Bubny - a vast brownfield, which, according to promotional materials, is to be transformed into a lively district full of greenery, modern architecture and new public spaces. What will Bubny look like and will it really serve the needs of residents, or rather the interests of developers? What will they bring to the city and its inhabitants? Come learn more and explore the future of Prague with your own eyes!
Three architects will accompany you: Anna Vinklárková from Arnika, Zuzana Poláková from Automat and Kateřina Vídenová from the UMPRUM Center for Art and Ecology.
