About event
Three authors who talk about branching out into the unknown, about failure and stumbling over their own demands and about uncertain hope, somewhere between nightclubbing and the last act of an opera. The reason for this is the new novel “That doesn’t end well” by Benjamin Schmidt. To be experienced live for the first time in the Z-Bar Berlin.
BENJAMIN SCHMIDT ...
... was born in 1989 without his consent in the Saale-Orla district in Thuringia. Otherwise everything just went well. The wheelchair thing isn't necessarily impractical either, especially where seats are rare. According to his hairstyle, he now lives in Berlin, where he even works. Since then he has written several books, studied something to do with music and regularly performs live. Sometimes with a guitar, sometimes without. His art can live off of him.

DIRK BERNEMANN ...
... was recently born in a Westphalian village and he somehow managed not to become an unhappy urban person. He has been writing since he could. So not that long yet. He has published over 15 books in the last 20 years. Bernemann lives and works in Berlin.

FABIO LA DELIA ...
... has taken many wrong turns in recent years and that's exactly where his stories begin. His first collection of short stories "On the unusual urgency of taking a wrong turn" was published in the summer of 2025 and tells of moments on the edge of everyday life between the flickering of the city, loops of thought and small crashes.
