Buchpremiere&Podiumsdiskussion: Die Zukunft Berlins

Where is Berlin? Where does the city want to go? Does she even want to go anywhere? Or is she simply letting herself be driven by circumstances? This book asks about ideas, models and plans for the future: from the population, their beliefs and views, to education and the world of work, the infrastructure and the economy to culture and politics. Starting from the present, the authors look forward and want to know what is likely, what makes sense and what is possible. What is of particular interest are long-term deep currents, rather than current everyday questions.

With this claim, the volume looks at the major subject areas that determine the future of the city. Authors of “The Future of Berlin” speak live in the Pfefferberg Theater about their visions for Berlin.
