Special edition associated with Record Store Day 2026. LP record exchange where you can add to your vinyl collection or find a musical gift for a loved one.
When and where?
Saturday April 18, 2026 - Prašná bašta Caffee, Zámočnicka 11, downtown Bratislava. From 10:00 - 13:00
What exactly is it about?
You probably know that it is a regular music exchange focused on the sale and exchange of LP records, CD carriers, MC cassettes and DVD carriers. This edition is special on Record Store Day 2026, organized by our brick-and-mortar record shop at Židovská 19 (about 2 minutes from the stock exchange, towards the tunnel under the castle). Each participant of the stock exchange will receive a promo invitation from us with a discount coupon valid in our record shop on April 18, 2026. You can come to the stock exchange to buy something, sell something or exchange something. Or discuss music. In addition to physical music carriers, you can sometimes find memorabilia in the form of music posters and almost always some books about music.
The exchange takes place in a friendly atmosphere and in the interior of the Prašná Bašta cafe, and during the time of the exchange you can choose from a selection of drinks and coffee right in Prašná Bašta.
Do you have something extra at home and want to sell it?
This is exactly what the exchange is for. The cafe has a certain capacity, and therefore entry for sellers via registration in advance at [email protected], or write to reserve a table in the comments of this event.
Is there an entrance fee?
Buyers have free entry, the stock exchange is also suitable for children. Sellers contribute to advertising, i.e. they pay 10 Euros per table (with a capacity for 200 LP albums)
Is it possible to park somewhere?
There is an underground (paid) large garage "Klarisky" about 50 meters away. Or Zochova Street, Palisády and the surrounding area, which are less than a 5-minute walk from the stock exchange. There is a parking fee of 1 Euro/hour through the PAAS system (link: https://paas.sk/platba/ )
What else is important?
For example, that our stone record shop is two minutes away at Židovská Street number 19 (shared entrance with Barber shop Hero). At the time of the exchange, we will prepare an extra offer of RSD 2026 titles, discounts on selected vinyl albums and a program after the end of the exchange. Stop by and maybe you'll pick up an interesting album or SP single for your vinyl collection. Or the MC cassette your parents remember...?
