After her impressive debut Here we come from In this second season of Buskeda we read another book by the Eindhoven author Leonieke Baerwaldt . days as strange symptoms is oppressive and poetic - a story that you don't let go. Op 2 april gaan we hierover in gesprek met Leonieke zelf bij Boekhandel Van Piere.
🔹 Waarom dit boek?
In deze roman duwt een naamloze hoofdpersoon elke dag een lege rolstoel voort, zonder te weten Why. It is a hypnotic story about the limits of reality, the sentence (and meaninglessness) of repetition and the question of how you find meaning in an elusive world. It was not for nothing that Days were as strange symptoms on the longlist of the Libris Literature Price and it became book of the month (Parool, October 2024)

In our first season we were deeply impressed by her debut novel. Now we dive even deeper into her writership and we discuss her newest novel in a live Q & A with the author himself.
