Screening of the debut of the winner of the Jihlava International Documentary Film Festival 2024.
The screening takes place on the occasion of Human Rights Day
A unique time series by Tomáš Hlaváček, awarded among others at the One World festival, follows the Sisyphean story of a group of newly elected councilors and co-workers who are trying to introduce in the second largest city of the Czech Republic abroad a proven method of solving housing for the poorest - the so-called Rapid rehousing ("rapid housing").
At times tragicomic, the engrossing film is a probe into two parallel worlds, in which the more successful find it difficult to understand the fate of the less successful, the search for bridges and dignified exits is nonetheless in the interest of everyone.
In October 2024, the author won the main prize at the Ji.hlavský MFDF for his film HOUSE WITHOUT EAST (2024), whose the time-lapse plot actually precedes the film BYDLET PROTI VŠEM (2021), although it was shown earlier, we follow some characters in both films. We present on the eve of Human Rights Day.
