SPACE HAMSTER is getting ready for another celebration of hamster escapes in search of a better civilization. The venue will be our home space station Melodka in Brno. Space Hamster will be joined by TORTHARRY, MELANCHOLY PESSIMISM, MINNOR and SILENCE BEFORE DECAY.

Space Hamster is modern death metal band from Brno, who first came to prominence with their debut album The Ascent to Nothingness in 2019. Their music mixes elements of technical death metal, deathcore, thrash metal and melodic death metal, creating diverse and varied sound. They are characterized by fast tempo changes, technically sophisticated riffs and alternation of aggressive and melodic passages, creating a unique style. After a short hiatus, the band released a new EP EON, inspired by Liu Ch'sin's Remembrance of Earth trilogy, and continues to develop its sci-fi and space motifs.

Tortharry is death metal band from Hronov, which has been active on the Czech metal scene since 1991. Their musical style is strongly influenced by classic death metal, and during their career the band has built a solid position not only in the Czech Republic, but also and abroad. The band originated from the original formation called Imago and later Executor before renaming themselves Tortharry.
During more than thirty years of existence, Tortharry released a number of albums, some of which were recorded at the famous Hacienda studio. They won fans not only at home, but also at many foreign festivals, for example in Germany, Portugal, Poland and even in Brazil, where they shared the stage with bands like Sepultura. Their discography includes albums such as Unseen (1999), White (2003), and Beneath (2010).
The band has undergone several personnel changes, but the key members remain Dan Pavlík (vocals, guitar) and Martin Vacek (bass). Jiří Rosa is currently providing the drums. Tortharry are known not only for their hard and technically sophisticated music, but also for their active concerts and constant presence on the Czech metal scene.

Melancholy Pessimism is death metal band from Uherské Hradiště, which was formed in 1992. The group quickly established itself on the Czech metal scene thanks to its technical and fast style, which gradually incorporated elements of Moravian folklore and jazz. The band went through several personnel changes and went on hiatus several times, but always managed to return to the scene.
During their career, they released several albums and played over 500 concerts, performing at well-known festivals such as Obscene Extreme and Brutal Assault. Melancholy Pessimism also performed alongside bands such as Kataklysm and Napalm Death, cementing their position on the international scene

Minnor is a band , which breaks down boundaries. It is based on the principles of harder music, but is not afraid to add enriching elements of various genre deviations. Everything is supported by precise playing and unconventional vocals, which create a crushing pressure during their live performances. Their third album, called ABHUMAN, is in the final stages of preparation, and in Brno they will also serve you samples from it.

Silence Before Decay may act as a new band on the Czech metal scene, but it consists of experienced musicians from the former bands FIREZONE, SAVANDRY and SKLEPMASTER. At the end of 2021, they recorded their album "Translunar" in the Šopa studio, which was released in March 2022 as part of the 104th issue of Pařát magazine. Now the band is preparing a new EP, which they will record in November at the DAVOS studio in Vyškov.
