Andrzej Sapkowski, author of the fantasy series The Witcher, is known, among other things, for his paraphrases of Slavic mythology. In a similar spirit, the Polish development company CD Projekt Red also created a new world of The Witcher for its computer games. A typical figure of Slavic mythology is the hag (or Baba Yaga) from a wooden cottage on chicken legs or a shed made of human bones. Like the forest itself, an old woman can appear in a young form, she understands nature, can heal and kill, and at the same time likes to eat children. Not only Baba Yaga inspired the creators of the PC game for the trio of perhaps the scariest creatures of the whole series — the hags titled Mistress of the Forest. In her lecture, Natálie Bulvasová will explore their wide sources of inspiration, their relationship to the original books, but also feminism. Can old eating children be considered feminist icons?

Bella, where the hell have you been, Loca?!
Friends, friends (as chef Jakub z Hell's Kitchen) arrive at the first Slejvák live at the newly opened cafe in ARŠA+! Whether you're team Edward or team Jacob, the Twilight saga is a guilty pleasure for all of us. Test your knowledge in a quiz carefully curated by the moderators, and the most knowledgeable among you will face off in a duel with guest Zdenka Horváthová. Zdeňka is a presenter of Radio Wave streaming, a figure in local cultural events and, above all, an expert in the field of vampire matters. He also doesn't let his fanfictions get in the way - he's writing a thesis on them. #unapologeticqueen #wanttobesomeone. It's free to enter and the podcast will be recorded, so you might just hear yourself on the next episode! And if anyone knows Vojta Kotka, tell him that Vilma and Míra will hold his seat in the first row. We look forward to seeing you!

"NOBODY CAN BE TRUSTED TODAY!!!" this is the conclusion of almost every criminal case. The obsession with True Crime, crime and criminals is on the rise these days. In the Czech Republic alone, there are dozens of platforms dedicated to this topic, and in addition to individual "amateur" creators, larger media houses are also joining them. From the position of an obsessive fan of crime and criminology, Tobiáš Waller tries to think about why this is so and presents one case that concerns both a cruel murder and the True Crime fandom. It will be like Believe it or not...
