About event

Dear friends of singing and making music together in the teahouse :)

I cordially invite you to another musical evening, which this time is dedicated to quiet, more literary songs. This will certainly lead to the works of Zuzana Navarová, Vlasta Redl, Karel Plíhal, Žalman, Ivan Hlas, Hradišťan, as well as newer songs, for example Mirko Kemel, Zhasni and others :).

Why Silent Evening? It turns out that two ceiling vaults, combined with some instruments, form a sphere of noise that is not in harmony with what the purpose of our meetings is. I would therefore like to return events to the values and feelings on which they are based: singing together, romance, nicely played melodic songs, usually with a guitar and a few accompanying instruments. The songs are played as they are in the original.
Just as we have proven long ago that tearoom performances are not suitable for electric guitars with a combo, after talking to a number of you from December, tearoom evenings will no longer be open for accordion, trumpet, saxophone, banjo, djembe, tambourine, shalmai and bagpipes. Apologies to those whose tools are affected. This is so that there is more silence for singing and at the same time the songs will be clearer, with a more variable expression. :-)

I really appreciate that teahouse evenings are a meeting place for known and unknown people who like to sing a repertoire, especially from the field of folk or similar genres. Do not hesitate to invite them and take them with you.

The event still has no entrance fee :) - our entrance fee is the conscientious consumption of tea leaves. Please everyone choose something.

Evenings are intended for music making and singing. Those who would like to chat, and that is perfectly fine, we will ask them to move away to the front room and then come back again.

I am looking forward to meeting you with nice music and a lively togetherness :).
