Wounded Stone Cascade and Praia da Louçainha
The route takes place in the Serra do Espinhal in a valley where we will find the admirable casaeta Wounded stone, almost 25 meters high, which forms a delicious natural pool. And if the waterfall delights, the rail that even drives in love. Along the Ribeira da Azenha, we are toasted with leafy vegetation, the omnipresent sound of the water running, small pools of water, wooden bridges and ancient water. There is no shortage of a park of lunch to make a picnic surrounded by nature. A true enchanted forest to savor slowly.
The river beach of the curse is a small paradise located in the municipality of Penela. This refuge is in the middle of the dense Serra do Espinhal. It takes advantage of the naturalness of Ribeira da Azenha due to the construction of several dams with different depths. This location is quite admitted in the region by the surrounding landscape that transmits tranquility due to the perfect union of the green of the mountain with the crystalline freshness of waters

after pic -nic/lunch we will visit the Minas Gerais and Environmental Theme park, Region by "Minas do Alemão", located by boat - Covilhã, and was considered one of the 50 secret places to explore and discover in the central region of Portuguese. This visit encompasses:

The military occupation of the hill, where it is located penela is very old, reassembling at least the Romans, who watched the Méida-Conímbriga-Braga road. St. Simon Casal Path
This walk takes place in the crosses of Fragas de Sanão, visit the village, visit the village of Casal de São Simão schist and travels the idyllic banks of the Ribeira de Alge and the fact, where the old Azenhas still shine, and by the peaceful villages from beyond Ribeira, Brás Curado and Saondam as well as the Fragas of São Simão river beach. Sensibly 2 km and connects the village of double schist of São Simão to the tall of the fragrant of São Simão, passing through the stunning river beach of Fragas de São Simão.
being part of the “peniche peninsula” which is a limestone platform, due to erosion of wind and rain, here can observe the beautiful ways that erosion agents have created here forming a lapiás.
Fluvial Beach of the couple of São Simão
The beach is 15 minutes walk (through the pedestrian path) of the couple of São Simão couple. The water of the Ribeira de Alge, which passes by the Zêzere, is so clear that the small stones are glimpsed inside. And cork oaks gives the air a comforting fragrance and the green of the surrounding mountains, which lead us to the Serra da Lousã, surround us in a beautiful scenario. The river beach is between two imposing Fragas, where it is practiced climbing with several equipped roads, rappel or slide. “Small” stones are used as a solarium or diving board. When walking south, next to the beach, there are several levadas and cloaks of the original flora of the region.
Casal de São Simão Xisto village
small village, practically one street, essentially built in quartzito. It is located in one of the flanks of the quartzitic crest that gives rise to the Fragas of St. Simon and has the oldest temple of the municipality of Figueiró dos Vinhos. The village extends along a cumbered almost parallel to the Ribeira de Alge course. The entrance is at the highest extreme and the village ends where the slopes made the continuity of the street difficult.
