EVENT DESCRIPTION: "Walking on the Faias Route - Serra da Estrela"
In this Caminhando activity proposal we will walk and visit some of the most fabulous places Serra da Estrela, such as Poço do Inferno, Covão da Ponte and Rota das Faias, among many other points of interest. This will be a long weekend full of strong emotions and landscapes to remember for a long time. Come with us!
These will be some of the most important places we will visit along the various walks:
- Poço do Inferno
- Vale da Ribeira de Leandres < br/>- Zêzere Glacier Valley Interpretive Center
- Rota das Faias
- Covão da Ponte
- Mondeguinho
- Manteigas
- Natural landscapes
TIME: Departure from Lisbon at 7am
RETURN: Arrival in Lisbon at 7:30pm
November 8th (Saturday)
Walk: "Rota do Poço do Inferno"
Difficulty level of the route: 3 (Scale from 1 to 5)
Length of the route: 3 kms
Duration scheduled: 2h30m
- Picnic lunch in a natural environment
- Visit to the Zêzere Glacier Valley Interpretive Center
- Tour in the village of Manteigas
- Suggestion Group Dinner
November 9th (Sunday)
Walk: "Rota das Faias - Walking from Cruz das Jogadas to Covão da Ponte - Bosque de S. Lourenço" < br/>
Difficulty level of the route: 3 (Scale from 1 to 5)
Length of the route: 12 kms
Expected duration: 3h30m
- Picnic lunch in a nature environment
3pm - End of activity and return to Lisbon
Equipment: Shoes and clothing suitable for hiking
Registration fee:
190€ (Price per person in a double room)
230€ (Price per person in a single room)
