Serra do Marão
The variety of fauna and flora is wide and the beauty of the even larger landscapes. It is in this small route that it comes across the mountain places of Eido, Weight and Coval, the mines of the bouquet, tin and volphamium, or a panoramic point of the waters of the Marão. The points of interest are many. And traveling the route is an authentic adventure, so diverse is also the kind of crossed spaces: there is faced with ways on ancient sidewalk, dirt or forest-where carqueja and hell or coniferous woods are glimpsed. Palheiros, mills and rustic bridges also promise to cherish the walkers' eyes on a route full of surprises.
13h- Pic-nic lunch suggestion (from the responsibility of each participant)

Walking in the Serra do Marão: Ribeira da Póvoa
It has blue blood "is a walk that leads us to the heart of Serra do Marão, one of the most authentic and beautiful zones in Portugal. Along the way, you will discover old water mills, which still remind us of a time when rural life was marked by simplicity and hard work. These silent but full of stories mills are an invitation to travel in time, while the surrounding nature continues to write its own history. Classified as a special conservation zone, it is part of one of the largest protected natural spaces in Europe, the Natura 2000 network. The region's biodiversity is simply impressive, with a variety of intertwining fauna and flora, creating a true wildlife mosaic. Some of the species that inhabit this area are rare and threatened, which makes the place even more special and worthy of preservation. This is the kind of place where time seems to stop, allowing you to disconnect from the routine and reconnect with nature. In addition, the landscape that unfolds in front of you is a unique beauty, with a view that will surprise you with each curve.
The "marão has blue blood" is not just a walk, it is an opportunity to dive into one of the most preserved and exciting natural scenarios in Portugal.
