EVENT DESCRIPTION:
In this event we will tour some of the large green spaces in the city of Lisbon, starting next to the urban gardens of Quinta da Granja, passing through Quinta das Conchas in Lumiar, among many other pleasant places to enjoy. After all, the city is not just a concrete jungle, there are still places worth walking through. Come with us, discover or rediscover Lisbon!

Quinta da Granja
Quinta da Granja still resists, proudly, in Benfica. There are around 11 ha of cultivated land, with a complex of houses at the top of the hill, surrounded by buildings and streets on all sides. The fifth dates back to the end of the 17th century, she is an old lady, she has every right to be where she is without anyone bothering her. It once had vineyards, then sheep, now just cereals.
Fazenda Nossa Senhora da Paz
Fazenda Nossa Senhora da Paz is part of a vast historical/artistic heritage made up of farms and palaces of Paço do Lumiar. In addition to having its lake and fountain restored, the garden now has new urban furniture, a lighting network, a maintenance circuit and equipment for table tennis.
Quinta das Conchas
Conceived and developed in the mid-20th century. XVI by Afonso de Torres, it is one of the most beautiful farms left in Lisbon. It has two distinct areas: the lower part has a large garden space that contains a multi-sports venue, and the upper part consists of a relatively closed forest. Open area with 24 ha of lawns and forested area, represents a place of high landscape value and notable ecological value, offering its visitors a picnic area, playground, forest paths with good conditions for cross country practice and the use of bicycles throughout terrain.
