About event

Yes, right: the camouflage. The masters of sadness in the dress of the electronic song. The band, who spilled over to the USA with "The Great Commandment" by Bietigheim-Bissingen, with a music that combined the coolness of Kraftwerk, the pop of OMD and the melancholic darkness of Depeche Mode. Time. It was a world, shaped by fears and threatening scenarios, non -aggression packs and embargos, ruled by old men and a woman. The cold war was almost over, the Berlin wall was still stuck. Camouflage threw her music into this landscape, driving, demanding and so sadly and beautiful that you wanted to dance endlessly. With its first work "Voices & Images", the band made success on the left and right of the Atlantic. In the United States, they even took first place on the Billboard Dance Charts. With the successor "Methods of Silence", they were able to build on it seamlessly and, with the single "Love is a shield", created a gem from a hit that still stirs the dance floors and radio stations worldwide today.

Since then a lot has happened on our planet and the band has put a long way that was anything but straight. Tours over the entire globe, film music compositions ("Die Welle" and "We are Night"), an opera project was driven on the wall and other albums were released.

Camouflage are not a LALA band that founds their existence on the writing of dance crackers and love songs, they touch no less than the big questions of our time.

The beats and bass, synth -arpeggi and surfaces are their unmistakable fingerprint, no less than the touching voice of singer Marcus Meyn.

You can rely on the band camouflage. They don't rest, they don't live in memory. With your last album "Greyscale" you have created a beautiful, strong piece of music for the here and now that is about us and our life.

"The truth will set me free,
i can always count on you,
as you can always count on me."
