A solo concert full of surprises and magic!
With special guest: overtone singer Daniel Pircher
This concert is an invitation to pause, relax and be amazed! The Berlin cellist Stefanie John puts her fascinating instrument, the campanula, at the center of the evening. The richness of the sound of the 16 additional resonance strings gives classical pieces, original compositions and soulful cover versions a new, almost magical dimension.
With personal moderation, Stefanie John leads through the concert and tells how she, as a trained orchestra musician, came to build her own instruments - and how the Campanula in particular inspired her to compose music herself. The familiar atmosphere allows the audience to perceive the subtle nuances.
Overtone singer Daniel Pircher enriches the evening with his spherical sounds. A meditative, almost hypnotic dialogue emerges between campanula, guitar and overtone singing. Stefanie John's concerts combine aha experiences, artistic treasures and listening pleasure in a unique way.
