She became known for her high-profile collaborations with Dave Stewart (the worldwide number 1 hit “Lily was here”) and of course Prince (including his “Partyman” video), the record-breaking Musicology Tour and her performance at the Grammy Awards with Beyoncé. Candy has also been fortunate to work with many other music legends, including Van Morrison, Maceo Parker, Sheila E., Mavis Staples, Lionel Richie, Pink Floyd, Chaka Khan, Aretha Franklin and many others, both in the studio and on stage .
Despite these great collaborations, Candy always focused on her solo career and remained true to her love of funk and jazz and especially live performances. She is carrying on the legacy of her father, the famous saxophonist Hans Dulfer.
