Pro Photo Supply is stoked to be collaborating with Canon USA’s Pacific Northwest reps at the 25th Annual Cape Kiwanda Longboard Classic in Pacific City, Oregon.
This celebrated PNW surf tradition - presented by Moment Surf Co and Pelican Brewing and known for its vibrant community atmosphere, live music, a bonfire opening night, and Pelican Brewing–hosted food and beverage offerings - is the perfect backdrop for photography. Whether you're a seasoned photographer or just curious about Canon current camera offerings, you’ll have the chance to test out Canon camera bodies and lenses right on the sand, capturing waves, riders, and the ecclectic crowds.
Find us at the longboard classic event HQ inside Pelican Brewing to check out the loaner gear (PLEASE NOTE: different camera bodies and lenses will have varying requirements for loanees - more info will be available on-site or you can reach out to us at [email protected] with your questions).
Our team and Canon’s PNW reps will be on hand to guide you, help with gear setup, and answer any technical questions. Be sure to swing by early—loaner gear is limited by what our reps can bring and will be first-come, first-serve basis.
OTHER IMPORTANT DETAILS
Experience level: Everyone
- Meeting Point: We'll be setup inside the tasting room at Pelican Brewing. Look for the Canon and/or Pro Photo Supply Branded table clothes and staff wearing Pro Photo Supply or Canon attire.
- Suggested Camera Gear to Bring: Camera, Lenses, tripod, blower (keep sand out of your gear!), memory card, circular poloarizer and ND filters
- Suggest Items to Bring (non-camera related): water/snacks, comfortable walking shoes, weather-appropriate attire, sunscreen, and anything else needed for protection from the elements.
