About event
cardboardhaze
The cardboardhaze band is characterized by genre diversity and unconventional composition of their songs. The listener recognizes psychedelic, progressive, alternative rock with folk or disco elements in the work. The songs come in like musical stories emerging from shared jams. Topics touch on spirituality and life situations, including love.
The six-member Prague band was formed in the summer of 2023 and consists of three architects Matěj, Ondřej and Dušan, painter Anna, graphic designer Jaroslava and game designer Viktor. The band meets at AVU in Prague and works on the release of their first EP.
🔥
Joska & Kiki
Joska & Kiki is an indie pop band of friends from your childhood, which will take you on an 80s gravel flight across the bridge between indietronica, as you know it from Metronomy or The National, and synthpop and nu-disco from stars like Fletcher or CHVRCHES. Along the way, you can admire through the loupe what Dua Lipa would sound like bathing in Shrek's swamp. If this caption doesn't tell you anything, it's probably better to just listen to them.
🔥
depressed math genius
depressed math genius is a project created during the darkest times of the pandemic and exam periods for matphysiology. Songs about heartbreak, bones, loss of friendships and mental integrity, and you can pick it anyway. Sadboi bedroom pop with orchestral elements for all depressed teenagers and adults who have never stopped feeling like teenagers and secretly act like that when they think no one notices :-).
