About event
The book deals with a case that happened, how the author can fight the killer disease, how much does he ask
The subject of the book is an ordinary person from the world's billions; one to whom God gave a very heavy cross. The character in the book fights everything, especially when it comes to his illness. Anyone can try to write a book, but a person with a terminal illness is much less likely to show that it is still possible to live beautifully. I am 47 years old, many people think that I am younger, because I always have youth, courage and struggle on my face. This book was also born because when a person gets sick, he really reevaluates his life. Until then, he doesn't even take seriously what life is and how much it's worth. And one more important thing that gave me a lot of strength to write the book: many Hungarian and Slovak friends of mine said that such a boy swimming in eternal happiness gives people the chance to look into his life.
What does the title, Carpe Diem, mean? Many interpret it as "live for today" or "enjoy life". In fact, Horace's idea: pluck the flower of each day, i.e. make use of time. But how do the state of health and living conditions make all this possible?
The many, many sufferings inspired my next poem:
Sorrow
My soul is gnawed by sorrow,
How long will my life last?
I fight for the days,
For the minutes, the months.
I vowed, I will not give up hope,
And I continue to search for the meaning of my life.
I will fight forever,
My life is only for joy!
Many people are sorry, I know,
But I will never give up!
My soul is gnawed by sorrow,
Should I dare or not?
I decide, I dare,
I live as I know.
I think. About what?
About life.
I think I just respect him.
I think about what he might suffer,
And if he gets the respect he deserves.
Even if I could cure him,
I would give him back his lost life.
Dreams sometimes come true,
Especially if our dreams consist of the same thing.
I keep dreaming about this at night:
The disease weight… NEVER rests on my shoulders AGAIN!
