About event
🌈CÁRY ŽIVOTA 🌈
Cáry života is a project by Jan Boroš (Fiordmoss, Tichonov), who drew attention to himself in 2018 with the record Stínítko. The slow and sad love songs earned critical acclaim at the time with an Apollo award and two nominations for the Vinyl music award. Together with Anna Hokešová, Štěpán Růžička and Michal Škoda, they played dozens of club concerts and festivals in the Czech Republic and Slovakia under the banner Bumbum Satori. In 2024, the project is announced again with the release of the new album Sluníčko and promises to return to concert stages. At Kafara, he will perform in a chamber performance (solo with guitar and computer), which leaves more space for personal lyrics of the songs.

🦵 TOE WAVING 🦵< br/>
Toe Waving is Californian musician Gabrielle Wildfeuer currently living in Prague. She began songwriting in 2012 while at a college dorm in Williamsburg, Virginia. Since then, she has played concerts in the USA, but also in Prague. In 2018, she released the lo-fi bedroom pop album Japanese Cats Are Good For Dreaming, with most of the songs dating from 2014 to 2017. She is currently working on an EP that will combine her lo-fi DIY roots with a richer, more expansive sound, while still retains the honesty and vulnerability of Toe Waving's previous songs. It is an album that explores transformations - between life and non-life, transformations in relationships and above all transformations between individual versions of oneself.
